Setting up Refund Methods

At iF we help you digitilize the process and retain the maximum value in your returns. One of the fundamental tools for this are the refund methods you offer to your customers.

General Description

We currently have four different refund methods available to your customers when requesting a return from the returns portal:

  • Exchange for another product → Shopify. Your customers will be able to request an exchange for another product (regardless of product value) by accessing the product catalog and product availability from the returns portal.
  • Variant change (size or color) → Your customers will be able to request a variant change by accessing the product variants (size, color, material) and availability from the returns portal.
  • Store credit → Your customers will be able to request a store credit refund for the price of the product from the returns portal.
  • Refund to the same payment method → Your customers can request a refund to the original payment method for the price of the product from the returns portal.

 

To configure the options go to the left side menu and click on Settings -> Refund Methods.

 

Once the customer has completed their return request, you will receive their request in the "Manage Returns" section, where you will be able to manage it.
