If you are looking to retain maximum value in your returns, store credit is a great tool to help you achieve this.

Offer store credit and make your customers choose to exchange rather than return. 

What is an Store Credit?

This method gives you an option to retain revenue by offering your customer a credit to use on their next purchase. This means that your customer will come back to make another purchase in your store and you don't have to make any bank transactions.

This cashback method has several ways to be promoted. Either by offering free shipping, giving away a percentage of the total product to be returned or giving away a fixed amount if you select the store credit option.

 

To block certain items from the store voucher option, either because they are on discount, belong to a previous collection or are part of the outlet, just add the tag. 

 

How to promote this method?

To encourage users to use this method you just need to check the box Do you want to promote this cashback method?

Then you can select between:

  • Fixed Amount
  • Free shipping
  • Percentage
  • PercentageFullPrice

How users request a Store Credit

The customer may request a store credit from the Returns Portal by logging in with the order number and email. Then select “Get Store Credit”.

The customer has the option to request a store credit equal to the price of the product minus the shipping cost, which can be used on their next purchase at your store.

      The customer will receive an email informing of the refund and the conditions of use of the credit:

      • This is a one-time use store credit with which we recommend making a purchase for an equal or greater amount in order not to lose money.
      • The customer will have 365 days to use this coupon.

      How to manage it

      The customer can request a store credit for the price of the product minus the cost of pickup to use on their next purchase in your store.
