If users feel regretful or confused when selecting a refund method for your products, it is crucial to give them the option to modify it directly from the platform.
This functionality promotes greater autonomy and optimizes time management, resulting in a more efficient and satisfactory return and refund process.
How it works
To change the refund method, it is necessary to open the corresponding order in the Returns Management section and access the detail of a return. Within the detail, you will find a button labeled “Change Refund Method”. Selecting this button will present a drop-down menu with two options available for adjusting the refund method:
- To Store Credit
- To Gift Card
- To Original payment
You can always be changed to an Original Payment, Store credit or Gift card.
To change the Refund Method go to Validation & Management -> Manage Returns
Click on the icon to open the Return information
Once the windos opens click on the "Change Refund Method" button
After selecting an option, you must save or cancel the action.
→ If you cancel nothing happens.
→ If you save the next modal opens to confirm the action:
Finally you will see the change in the detail:
1. In the upper left corner the new refund method.
2. In the detail it is indicated which is the previous refund method.
